Combatting Imposter Syndrome As A Woman In Tech

It’s normal to feel unsure of ourselves some of the time. But when we feel that way all of the time, there’s a name for that—imposter syndrome. The good news is, it’s 100% beatable, and Iswarya Parupudi will tell us now. Iswarya is the Director of Engineering at EdTech company Voxy, and has a passion for mentoring women and diversifying the tech space.

She has a bachelor's degree in Art History from Indiana University (mint condition, never been used!), where she also earned a varsity letter for Women's Rowing. She loves DIY projects and will never say no to french fries. She lives in Toledo, OH with her husband Aaron, an engineering technician, and their dogs, Radar & Cake.
